This contract position offers four openings at the elementary (two positions), PreK, and high school levels. Classrooms are self-contained, allowing educators to provide tailored instruction and meaningful connections with students. Working onsite from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, youll play a vital role in student growth and daily school life.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Tennessee teaching license 459, 461, or 105 teaching endorsement required Current CDC certification Experience working as a Special Education Teacher (elementary, PreK, or high school preferred) Strong ability to foster inclusive, supportive classroom environments Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop individualized education plans and deliver instructional activities tailored to student needs in a self-contained classroom Adapt curriculum to help every student meet learning goals Implement effective behavioral and instructional strategies Collaborate with support staff, therapists, families, and general education teachers to support student progress Maintain detailed records and ongoing assessment of student achievements and needs Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insights that impact student success This role is perfect for educators passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with exceptionalities.
