QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with picture communication systems and/or augmentative communication devices. Ability to pass and utilize therapeutic crisis intervention training provided by RCS. Meets all health, physical and background-check requirements. Hold a current Tennessee Teaching Certificate preferred. Have both training and successful experience working with students with moderate to severe behavioral problems. Must have successful training and/or experience working with students with Autism. Understand Federal, State and local regulations regarding the identification, placement and discipline of students with disabilities. Strong Interpersonal skillsability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, other professionals in the school and community, support staff, parents, etc.) Strong written and verbal presentation skills
