2026-2027 contract position Responsibilities The teacher will develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals, accommodations, and educational needs. Responsibilities include delivering differentiated lessons, monitoring academic and functional progress, maintaining appropriate documentation, and collaborating with school staff and families. The educator will also support positive behavior strategies and create a structured classroom environment that promotes student participation, independence, and growth. Requirements Candidates must hold or be eligible for a valid Tennessee 461 Special Education certification appropriate for moderate to severe disabilities. Experience working with students who have significant academic, developmental, behavioral, or functional needs is preferred, along with a strong understanding of individualized education programs. Applicants should also demonstrate effective communication, classroom management, collaboration, and organizational skills. Compensation and Benefits Soliant Education offers a competitive hourly rate of $35-$51, with compensation determined by qualifications, degree level, experience, and applicable travel considerations. Eligible contractors receive health, dental, and vision insurance options, along with a 401k plan and weekly pay.
