Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with the required endorsements (non-negotiable) Proven experience developing and managing IEPs Strong skills in progress monitoring and data-driven instruction Background in implementing both inclusion and pull-out services Expertise in effectively collaborating with general education teachers and families to support diverse learners Recent experience in an elementary school setting is strongly preferred

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs in elementary grades Collaboratively develop and implement Individualized Education Programs Monitor student progress and document outcomes, making instructional adjustments based on data insights Provide both inclusion and pull-out services based on student requirements Communicate regularly with families and general education staff to ensure a unified approach to student growth Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with district and state guidelines Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture for all students The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and runs through the 2026-27 academic year, starting as soon as possible and tentatively ending 5/26/2027.
