Duties Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and arts. Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, or visual impairments. Utilize learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance student engagement and understanding. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques and behavioral therapy strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing observations; adjust instruction accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists such as speech therapists or occupational therapists to support student development holistically. Mentor students in academic advising sessions and provide support for early intervention initiatives to promote childhood development and child welfare. Requirements Proven classroom experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or special education environments. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored to diverse learning needs. Experience working with individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder—and familiarity with IEP processes. Ability to incorporate learning technology and adapt teaching methods for visually impaired or children with behavioral health needs. Certification or training in speech therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral management, or recreational therapy is preferred. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, classroom management excellence, and ongoing professional development in areas such as Montessori methods or early intervention.
