Two full-time contract opportunities are available for committed educators passionate about special education. These roles focus on Alternate Curriculum Classrooms, closely aligned with Life Skills instruction. Positions are open at both the elementary and high school levels, allowing candidates to match their expertise and interests to the age group they feel most comfortable supporting. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will extend through May 21, 2027.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain within Texas) Experience working in Life Skills or Adaptive/Alternate Curriculum settings is highly valued Background in either elementary or high school special education preferred Skill in implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum to diverse learning styles Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams Patience, creativity, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:
