Job Description

Experience making a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher, supporting students in both an Elementary Life Skills class and a Middle School Behavior classroom. This onsite, contract role offers the unique opportunity to work with diverse learners and collaborate with dedicated staff near Buda, TX, for 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification Experience working in special education settings, preferably with elementary and middle school students Strong classroom management skills, especially in behavior and life skills settings Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with students, families, and colleagues
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and implement personalized education plans tailored to each students unique needs Adapt instructional materials and teaching approaches to support varying learning styles and abilities Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other educators, counselors, and specialized staff Engage parents and caregivers in their childs educational journey Foster a positive, structured classroom atmosphere that promotes growth and development Provide guidance and support to help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social goals
