Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by stepping into a full-time Special Education teaching role for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Multiple openings are available for passionate educators interested in supporting students in both middle and elementary schools—roles include CORE (behavior program) at the middle school level, as well as Structured Learning (lifeskills) at the elementary level.

What We're Looking For:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with students in behavior programs (CORE) or lifeskills/structured learning classrooms is highly valued Strong classroom management and individualized instruction abilities Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, families, and support teams Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine desire to foster student growth and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a range of learning needs Provide differentiated instruction across core academic and behavior/lifeskills-focused curricula Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with staff, therapists, and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student Maintain accurate documentation, tracking student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed Participate in professional development and team meetings to support continuous growth
