This contract-based position, conveniently located near Buda, TX, involves guiding EC-6 learners in a supportive setting, fostering growth through positive reinforcement and a thoughtfully designed value system. With a small classroom size—five students, including two requiring more functional support—you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM (37.5 hours per week).

Qualifications/Experience Desired:

Valid Texas Educator License with Special Education Endorsement. Strong background working with elementary-aged children in life skills or functional support settings. Experience attending and contributing to Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings required. Dedicated to implementing positive reinforcement and earned rewards in the classroom. Ability to adhere to professional dress code standards (concealed tattoos, natural hair tones, limited earrings, appropriate work attire). Eagerness to participate in SAMA training (Satori Alternative to Managing Aggression) provided in October.
