This position, starting as soon as possible and lasting through the end of the school year, supports a manageable caseload of 10-12 students. Youll work 30-32 hours per week, providing tailored academic interventions and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Demonstrated experience with Math and Reading/Language Arts (RLA) instruction Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills Collaborative spirit with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams Passion for supporting student growth and adapting to diverse learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student, integrating Math and RLA objectives Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet students unique educational needs Monitor academic and behavioral progress, documenting and communicating results Coordinate and collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families Adapt instruction to accommodate a range of learning abilities and styles Maintain compliance with all state and federal education laws and documentation This contract role offers the chance to work closely with a small caseload, giving you time to build rapport and make a lasting difference in the lives of your students.
