Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students needs Collaborate with teachers parents and support staff to foster student success Manage classroom activities and behavior to create a safe positive learning environment Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district policies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent Valid Texas Teaching Certification in Special Education or equivalent Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting with special education students Familiarity with IEPs Familiarity with behavior management strategies Reliable transportation Background check clearance Ability to work collaboratively within a school team Patience Adaptability Strong communication skills Compliance with school district policies
