Job Description

Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students by utilizing your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician. This position offers the chance to work onsite in a dynamic school environment near Denton, TX, beginning as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027. Multiple positions are available, so you'll be part of a collaborative team working to positively impact the lives of children and families in the community.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Educational Diagnostician certification required Experience conducting comprehensive educational evaluations and eligibility determinations Solid understanding of Texas special education law and assessment standards Strong documentation and reporting skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Administer educational and psychological assessments for students referred for special education services Guide the evaluation process and interpret test data to inform eligibility and service recommendations Prepare clear, detailed written reports within required timelines Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide team support for instructional planning Communicate assessment findings and recommendations to educators and parents Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
