The ideal candidate is committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students, including neurodivergent learners. Applicants must have formal classroom teaching experience ( certification not required) in a public, private, or charter school setting. Experience working with students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, and other learning differences is preferred. Candidates without this experience must be willing to participate in specialized training. We are looking for a reliable, collaborative educator who can create an inclusive classroom environment while maintaining high expectations for student success. Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, positive, and organized classroom environment. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals. Design and facilitate small-group instruction based on student needs. Integrate subjects through thematic and project-based learning experiences. Establish clear classroom expectations and consistently implement behavior management strategies. Follow school policies, procedures, and NAEYC developmentally appropriate practices. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records. Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth, achievements, and concerns. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Recognize and address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges. Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school initiatives. Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field required. Texas Teaching Certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience in a public, private, or charter school setting. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and active listening skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, and other neurodivergent learning profiles. Ability to motivate, challenge, and support students at varying academic levels. Experience with project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and small-group teaching preferred.
