In this role, you will create a stimulating, supportive classroom environment grounded in Montessori principles, fostering independence, curiosity, and social-emotional growth. Your expertise will help lay a strong foundation for children's future academic and personal success through engaging lessons and personalized care. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum tailored to PreK students, emphasizing hands-on learning and exploration. Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes independence, respect, and positive behavior management. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and early childhood development concepts. Monitor and assess individual student progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in early intervention or special education to support diverse learning needs. Maintain detailed records of student development, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with educational standards. Foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports child welfare, promotes social skills, and encourages active participation in classroom activities. Skills Strong knowledge of Montessori teaching methods and early childhood education principles. Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including toddlers care and classroom management. Proficiency in curriculum development across subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and child welfare. Ability to design effective lesson plans that align with developmental milestones and standardized testing requirements. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members effectively. Experience working with students with diverse needs through special education or early intervention programs. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an environment of respect and curiosity.
