Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Position Overview:
Provide specialized instruction and support for students in a Functional Academics classroom. Support a caseload of approximately 9 students, with paraeducator support. Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies to promote academic, behavioral, and functional growth. Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to support student success and ensure appropriate accommodations. Maintain documentation, support IEP processes, and foster an inclusive learning environment.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field Valid Texas Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement Valid Texas ESL Supplemental Certification Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST) Handle with Care, CPI, or similar crisis prevention/de-escalation training (or willingness to complete training) Why Join Cross Country Education?Competitive Pay:
