Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience teaching or supporting students with varied learning needs Familiarity with IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom climate Prior school-based experience is a plus, but recent graduates are encouraged to applyKey Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Create adaptive lesson plans tailored to individual goals and learning styles Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Monitor academic and behavioral progress, documenting and communicating updates Provide support and accommodations to ensure student participation and growth Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives This role offers the opportunity to build relationships and create meaningful change for students with unique abilities.
