Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and families Adaptability to diverse learning and behavioral needs Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute individualized learning plans tailored to students' unique strengths and needs Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom climate Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are effectively provided Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary Communicate regularly with families to share updates, celebrate successes, and address concerns Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state special education requirements Create a positive, nurturing environment that motivates students and encourages their growth academically, socially, and emotionally
