Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential support as a Special Education Teacher for a Functional Life Skills classroom. This contract opportunity runs from August 13, 2026, through November 5th—with potential extension through the Christmas break—serving a diverse student population from PK3 to 8th grade. You'll have the chance to teach at one or more campuses, helping students develop crucial skills for greater independence. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience supporting students with a variety of learning and adaptive needs Familiarity with Functional Life Skills curriculum and evidence-based instructional strategies Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Ability to adapt instruction for multiple ability levels within the same classroom Dedication to fostering a positive, respectful, and supportive classroom climate
