These full-time, 40-hour-a-week contract positions offer the opportunity to serve students across all grade levels (EC-12), with placement based on your credentials and previous experience. Essential Qualifications:
Valid Texas Teaching Certification Special Education EC-12 certification required In addition, you must possess at least one of the following certifications: EC-6 Core Subjects 4-8 Generalist 9-12 specific subjects (as aligned with your expertise) Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to serve diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and modify instructional plans for students with varying learning needs Work collaboratively with other educators, specialists, and families to create individualized education programs (IEPs) Utilize evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to support student progress Monitor and document student achievement, maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom culture
