Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom facilitator, stepping into various teaching environments to support the needs of children across different age groups and developmental stages. Responsibilities Provide flexible classroom coverage across multiple early childhood settings, ensuring continuity of instruction and care. Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students. Support children's social-emotional development through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques. Engage children in literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with developmental milestones. Collaborate with lead teachers and specialists in implementing individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to childcare standards and promoting child welfare practices. Communicate regularly with parents and team members about children's progress, needs, and classroom activities to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing, tutoring strategies, and teaching physical education is a plus. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining high standards of childcare and education. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Understanding of behavior management strategies tailored for young learners with diverse needs. Pay:
$8.25 - $10.00 per hour
