Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching credentials or state certification Experience delivering instruction within a Functional Life Skills classroom or similar setting Familiarity with special education documentation, IEP development, and progress monitoring Strong classroom management and collaborative skills Ability to differentiate instruction for students with moderate to significant disabilities Organized, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively with families and staff

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and adapt curriculum and life skills training for students in PK3-8th grade Maintain accurate records of student progress, adapting lesson strategies as needed Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and general education staff Participate in campus-based meetings, professional development, and IEP sessions Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive
