A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

British Swim School is looking for a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to work with children and adults with special needs. Our mission is to teach water survival skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment while helping every swimmer build confidence and independence. No previous swim teaching experience is required—we provide comprehensive paid training! What You'll Do Teach swim lessons using the British Swim School curriculum. Provide individualized instruction for swimmers with a variety of physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment. Communicate swimmer progress with parents and caregivers. Prioritize safety while making lessons engaging and rewarding. Work closely with management and fellow instructors to support each swimmer's success.
