Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Special Education Teacher, with experience in school settings preferred Familiarity with creating, adapting, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Effective communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and staff Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage diverse caseloads Adaptability and patience when working with students with a range of learning and behavioral needs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs Deliver engaging instruction using differentiated teaching methods Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists to provide comprehensive support Track and document students' progress, maintaining accurate records and preparing regular reports Participate in meetings with parents, staff, and administration to review goals and progress Offer a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere that helps students thrive both academically and socially Imagine making a meaningful impact in a community where your guidance shapes student success.
