Duties Provide coverage for various classrooms during scheduled shifts, ensuring continuity of instruction and care for children of different ages. Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to early childhood education standards, including preschool and toddler care. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being among children. Support classroom management by organizing activities, maintaining a safe environment, and managing classroom routines efficiently. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, developmental milestones, and classroom activities to foster strong home-school connections. Adhere to mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting any concerns related to child welfare or safety incidents. Support teachers with child development instruction, standardized testing preparation, and physical education activities to enhance overall learning experiences. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential, with a strong background in early intervention and childhood development instruction. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within preschool or private school environments. Knowledge of special education needs, behavior management techniques, and early childhood education best practices is highly desirable. Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children, including implementing literacy education strategies and physical activities. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and collaboration with team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is essential. Additional experience in math instruction or standardized testing preparation will be considered an asset for supporting comprehensive child development initiatives. Pay:
