Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Intermediate to Advanced Drum Teacher to join our vibrant music education team! This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students of all ages through engaging drum instruction, fostering their musical growth and creative expression in one on one lessons. Band prep for quarterly recitals and advancement program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Drums, Band performance and percussion would be a plus! Teaching private lessons in our studio and a dedication to nurturing talent in a lively, supportive environment. If you thrive on empowering students to reach their full potential and love sharing your expertise in rhythm and performance, this position is perfect for you! Duties Develop and implement comprehensive drum curriculum tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced students Lead engaging individual drum lessons that emphasize technique, rhythm, and musicality Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive, disciplined space conducive to learning and creativity Prepare students for performances and band recitals by coaching on stage presence, timing, and musical interpretation. Maintain detailed lesson plans, progress reports, and student portfolios to track development and tailor future instruction for parents. Experience Proven experience teaching drums or percussion at intermediate to advanced levels with a strong portfolio of student work. Demonstrated ability in curriculum development across various age groups and skill levels Experience working with children and adults, youth programs. Knowledge of musical instruments beyond drums is a plus; familiarity with music theory and performance techniques highly valued! Prior experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies for diverse learners. Join us in shaping the next generation of talented performers!
