Two full-time opportunities are available, both based onsite at a renowned high school serving students in the Lewisville, TX area. Collaborate with an experienced team to foster a positive learning atmosphere and create meaningful, individualized learning experiences.

Available Roles:

Math Resource Teacher:

Requires Texas Special Education Certification and Math Certification.

Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher:

Requires Texas Special Education Certification and a Core Content area certification. Both roles begin as soon as possible and run through May 21, 2027, offering a stable and rewarding professional commitment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid Texas Special Education (SPED) Certification.

For the Math Resource position:

Math Certification required.

For the Life Skills role:

Certification in a Core Content area. Direct teaching experience within your respective area (highlight your classroom work, resource room management, or vocational/life skills facilitation). Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families. Dedication to fostering an inclusive environment and providing differentiated instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Deliver targeted instruction aligned with students goals and abilities. Track progress and maintain accurate documentation. Communicate regularly with parents, service providers, and school staff. Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development. Foster self-advocacy, independence, and positive classroom culture.
