Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters in Special Education or related field Valid TX state teaching license for Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) Previous classroom or resource teaching experience preferred Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Passion for supporting students with special needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with varying disabilities Create and adapt lesson plans to meet students IEPs Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and specialists Maintain accurate records, track progress, and foster family partnerships Uphold district and state compliance standards
