Start Date:

School year schedule, beginning September 2, 2026 Part-time hours: 8-10 hours per week

Caseload:

7 students from various age groups, assignments to specific schools to be determined On-site support required (district indicated virtual wont be helpful to their students) Must have a valid Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TX TVI) credential

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for visually impaired students Conduct assessments and document student progress Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate accommodations and modifications Provide direct instruction tailored to the needs and abilities of each student Support families and educators by offering resources and training related to visual impairment Perks of the
