Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. Valid Texas Special Education (EC-12) teaching certificate. Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance through the Texas Education Agency if not already completed. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, modify, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Deliver instruction in self-contained or resource/inclusion settings based on assigned caseload. Utilize data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies. Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support whole-child development. Encourage participation in school-wide activities such as lunch, art, and P.E., promoting social and educational growth. This is an on-site role (not open to virtual instruction) beginning as soon as possible and running through the end of May 2027, with a standard 37.5-hour work week.
