Seeking applicants for two Elementary School SPED Teachers Provide special education students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to match student ability levels. Work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity as assigned. Our purpose is to help all students in the development ofpetencies and skills making for a well rounded adult, that can function successfully in society.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university. Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignment Special Education Supplemental (valid at grade levels and in the subject areas of the base certificates) Grade Level Specific Content Certification

Salary Range:

Placement on the Teacher salary schedule, $52,565.00-$76,065.00 based on 0-26 years of creditable experience. Navasota ISD contributes $325/monthly to employee only health insurance plans.
