Qualifications & Skills Needed:
Valid Educational Diagnostician certification Proven experience completing educational assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, learning disabilities, and educational intervention strategies Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively within school guidelines and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for students Interpret data to determine students eligibility for special education services Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals Participate in ARD/IEP meetings to present findings and recommendations Maintain detailed records, assessment reports, and progress documentation Work closely with general and special education staff to support educational interventions Provide expertise on assessment, eligibility, and programming for students with diverse needs Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
