9681212-79250 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK through 1st grade students as a Special Education Teacher. This engaging position begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, offering a chance to make a lasting impact on a dynamic caseload that primarily consists of students receiving speech services. In this role, you will guide a group of approximately 90 young learners, collaborating with a dedicated team of six paraprofessionals. Your expertise will be vital in managing diverse needs, crafting individualized education plans, and fostering inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications:

Hold an active Special Education Teacher license in Texas (TX) Proven ability to develop and implement IEPs Experience leading or collaborating with paraprofessional staff Skilled at completing progress reports and participating in ARD meetings Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion for working with early elementary students

Key Responsibilities:

Direct instruction and support for students across PreK-1st grade Collaborate with six paraprofessionals to ensure high-quality service delivery Design, write, and implement effective IEPs tailored to student needs Consistently document and assess progress, providing comprehensive reports Participate in ARD meetings as an essential team contributor Partner closely with families, staff, and specialists to support student growth
