A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Available Help for . : Manage assigned classroom (Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool). Implement Frog Street curriculum daily, maintain ratio compliance and Texas Minimum Standards, document children's progress, communicate with parents through Brightwheel, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Experience:
Prior experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare center (required)
Recommendation letters (required)
Documented training proof (licensing-aligned trainings)
Familiarity with Frog Street curriculum
Texas Rising Star program knowledge
Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
Tech-friendly Hours:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Shifts assigned within operating hours (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
