With a diverse caseload of 90 studentsmany of whom receive only speech servicesyoull have the support of six dedicated paraprofessionals to help deliver high-quality instruction.

Qualifications:

Current and active Special Education Teacher License for Texas. Strong background in creating and implementing IEPs. Comfortable leading and managing a team, specifically six paraprofessionals. Experience working with early elementary-aged children. Skilled in hosting ARD meetings and preparing detailed progress reports. Demonstrated commitment to student growth, inclusive practices, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to a varied caseload, emphasizing student success and inclusion. Maintain accurate and up-to-date IEPs, ensuring all documentation meets compliance requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate actively in ARD meetings to shape best outcomes. Lead, coach, and support paraprofessionals in daily classroom activities and specialized interventions. Monitor and communicate student progress through regular reports and family engagement. Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment for PreK1st grade students.
