Drum Teacher Music School - 3.0 Round Rock, TX Job Details Part-time $40 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications Music Experience working with children Working with students Music Education Teaching Full Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and talented Drum Teacher to join our growing Music School team. Our school provides private music lessons in a friendly, supportive, and creative environment. We work with children and students of different ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to more experienced musicians. We are looking for a teacher who can make drum lessons fun, structured, and motivating while helping students build strong musical foundations. Responsibilities Teach private drum lessons to children and students of different ages and skill levels Create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans Teach rhythm, technique, coordination, timing, and musicality Help students learn songs and develop confidence behind the drum set Encourage consistent practice and student progress Prepare students for recitals, performances, and Music School events Communicate professionally with parents and school administration Maintain a dependable and consistent teaching schedule Qualifications Strong drumming and overall musicianship skills Previous teaching experience preferred Experience working with children is highly preferred Patient, positive, energetic, and professional personality Dependable and punctual Strong communication skills Music degree or formal music education is preferred, but not required for candidates with strong performance and teaching experience What We Offer Friendly and supportive working environment Established and growing student base Flexible part-time schedule Opportunity to increase teaching hours as enrollment grows Recitals, performances, and special school events Administrative support with scheduling and student communication Schedule This is a part-time position , primarily during afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends depending on student demand and teacher availability.
