Responsible for creating and implementing individualized lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with staff and families to support students with special needs. Earn up to $53 per hour with competitive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement individualized lesson plans to support students' unique learning needs. Manage classroom activities and foster a positive learning environment. Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, and families to support student success. Monitor and record student progress in accordance with IEP goals. Provide behavioral support and intervention strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or an equivalent field. Valid Texas State Teaching Certification in Special Education or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students in a school setting. Familiarity with behavioral strategies, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and classroom management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families. Background check, fingerprinting, and compliance with district-specific clearance requirements. Ability to adhere to school policies and safety protocols. Comfortable working in a dynamic educational environment.
