Required Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain) Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred) Experience developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility and adaptability to transition smoothly into new educational environments Previous school-based experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain and document student progress and compliance records Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
