Job Description

As an ARD Facilitator specializing in special education, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting students and educators for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity, located near Schertz, TX, offers the chance to make a direct impact as you guide ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Your skills and experience will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of educational services and compliance with state and federal regulations.

What You'll Bring:

A valid Texas Special Education Certification K-12 Prior experience as an ARD Facilitator within school settings Strong understanding of special education law, ARD processes, and compliance standards Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work onsite and commit to a consistent 37.5-hour work week August 2026 through May 2027

Your Daily Responsibilities:

Organize and facilitate ARD meetings, ensuring documentation accuracy and legal compliance Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to develop effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Maintain up-to-date student records and track progress Serve as a resource on ARD procedures and special education requirements Advocate for students and foster a positive, inclusive environment for all
