Job Description

Make an impact in the lives of young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher serving ages 3-5. You'll play a key role in promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment where each child can flourish and reach their potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education and Generalist certifications required Experience teaching or supporting children ages 3-5 strongly preferred Solid understanding of early childhood development and special education best practices Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and support staff Creative problem-solving abilities and patience to individualize instruction based on student needs Passion for fostering a welcoming, inclusive classroom climate
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and abilities Adapt lessons to meet a variety of learning styles and developmental stages Track student progress and maintain detailed records of interventions and achievements Work collaboratively with parents, speech and occupational therapists, and administration to deliver comprehensive student support Create a structured, nurturing environment to promote social, emotional, and academic growth Manage classroom routines and behavior using positive reinforcement strategies
