Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Generalist Certification is required. Strong background working with middle school studentsparticularly in Special Education settings. Able to handle a case management load of approximately 25 students. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student while meeting state and federal guidelines. Develop, monitor, and update IEPs, ensuring educational goals are both challenging and achievable. Manage a student caseload of about 25, maintaining accurate records and ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary teams. Foster a classroom environment that encourages engagement, respect, and a passion for learning. Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and counselors to create and maintain an inclusive educational environment.
