Qualifications:
Active teaching license with Special Education endorsement (valid in Texas, or eligibility to obtain) Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Previous experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Modify curriculum to support diverse learning styles and abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote student success Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
