Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners, foster their early childhood development, and build strong relationships with families. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to two-year-olds that promotes early literacy, math skills, social-emotional growth, and physical development. Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a well-structured schedule that includes play, learning, rest, and meal times. Use effective behavior management strategies to encourage positive behaviors and address challenges with patience and consistency. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school partnerships. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and early childhood education best practices. Qualifications CDA Preferred Proven experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting. Strong knowledge of child development principles specific to toddlers. Experience in curriculum development focused on early childhood education topics such as literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while creating an inclusive environment that supports all learners.
