Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

EXPERIENCED
Lead Two's teacher. Our ideal teacher will be organized, flexible, hard-working, and knowledgeable of the developmental stages of children aged 2-3 years old. Kids R Kids provides an excellent, well-rounded curriculum. Your job is to ensure the curriculum is implemented, that you have all your supplies for the week, and to update your curriculum board by each Friday. Some responsibilities include but not limited to: Providing a safe and loving environment Organizing your classroom and light cleaning Implementation of Kids R Kids curriculum Following all policies set by Texas Health and Human Services, Texas Rising Star, and Kids R Kids. Making sure updates are sent home daily for each child in your care through our online parent portal. Attending all school functions such as Breakfast with Santa, Mother's Day and Father's Day events, school meetings, and open house. This position is 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday-Friday. The starting pay is $14, but we are willing to negotiate based on education, experience, and relevant skill sets.
