Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher by supporting students in a collaborative, welcoming school environment near Springtown, TX. These full-time contract positions offer immediate starts and flexible end dates, with opportunities for both behavioral and life skills caseloads. Youll work closely with small student groups, allowing you to provide individualized attention and foster student growth every day.

Openings include:

Intermediate School (Role A): Serve students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades with behavioral needs (not fully self-contained, caseload of 5). Seeking educators who bring hands-on experience and a passion for inclusive education. Elementary School (Role B): Guide younger students (K2nd grade) with life skills needs (caseload of 4). Ideal for those with a background in teaching life skills and supporting early learners. High School (Role C, starting November): Candidates with dual skills in behavioral support and life skills instruction may transition into a maternity leave role through the remainder of the school year (caseload of 5 high school students).

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Prior experience with behavioral or life skills caseloads (as relevant to the role) Strong classroom management and communication skills Adaptability and commitment to student-centered teaching Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
