The teacher will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development while maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing, and responsive care to children in the classroom. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate daily activities and lesson plans. Support children's language, communication, social-emotional, cognitive, and motor development. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. Follow daily classroom schedules and established childcare center policies and procedures. Assist children with toileting, diapering, handwashing, meals, snacks, and other personal-care needs as appropriate. Encourage positive behavior and use appropriate classroom-management techniques.
