Job Description

A fulfilling contract position is available for an experienced Educational Diagnostician who is passionate about supporting student success and collaborating with dedicated education professionals. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid Educational Diagnostician certification Masters degree in Special Education or related field Knowledge of assessment tools and processes in a school setting Experience conducting comprehensive educational evaluations Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and related special education laws Excellent communication and documentation skills Collaborative, flexible approach with multidisciplinary teams Previous contract or travel assignment experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological and educational assessments for referred students Interpret evaluation results and participate in ARD/IEP meetings Develop and contribute to individualized education plans based on student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and parents to facilitate student growth Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate assessment documentation Support teachers with strategies and resources for accommodations and modifications Stay current on best practices and compliance standards in special education This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in adaptive, supportive educational settings and are driven by student advocacy.
