Job Description

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Active Educational Diagnostician certification in Texas Masters degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, or a related field Thorough understanding of state and federal special education laws and procedures, including ARD meetings and IEP process Proficiency in educational assessments and diagnostic testing tools Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services Interpret assessment data and provide written reports documenting findings and recommendations Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Participate actively in ARD meetings, sharing insights to ensure appropriate placements and services for students Stay updated on best practices, legal updates, and compliance requirements Serve as a resource to school personnel, offering guidance on instructional strategies and accommodations Maintain organized records and documentation in accordance with district and legal guidelines
