In this role, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. Your expertise in early childhood education, combined with your enthusiasm for working with toddlers, will help lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning. As the lead teacher, you will collaborate with families, staff, and specialists to ensure each child's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social skills. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children's emotional well-being. Engage children in age-appropriate lessons that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking through hands-on activities and play-based learning. Monitor each child's progress using standardized testing methods and maintain detailed documentation of developmental milestones. Collaborate closely with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when necessary. Manage classroom routines effectively, ensuring safety protocols are followed and that the environment remains organized and stimulating. Incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences aligned with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Extensive experience in classroom management and lesson planning for preschool-aged children, especially toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies. Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Ability to work effectively with children requiring early intervention or additional support services. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists to promote child welfare. Familiarity with daycare regulations, private school standards, and Montessori or other specialized teaching methodologies. Demonstrated classroom experience in early childhood education settings with a focus on toddler care and preschool experience.
