Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education Previous experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school setting Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work on an interdisciplinary team Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Passion for guiding students in building confidence and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and one-on-one settings Assess student needs and adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles Develop, implement, and monitor educational plans and progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to coordinate student support Provide resources and training to staff and family members as requested Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations This position is open to candidates interested in flexible scheduling, with full and part-time assignments available.
