Qualifications & Experience:
Current special education teaching license valid in Virginia Endorsement in Adaptive Curriculum for ages 3-5 Prior experience teaching students with diverse learning needs (preferred) In-depth understanding of adaptive teaching strategies and individualized instruction Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work onsite for the full assignment period
Responsibilities:
Deliver adaptive curriculum content to preschool-aged students (35 years old) Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Track student progress, maintaining detailed records and documentation Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment Communicate regularly with families and interdisciplinary team members Collaborate with other educators for student success This contract runs from ASAP through June 4, 2027, offering you the chance to build close connections with students and staff over multiple school years.
